Look no further than Sankt Moritz, the renowned Swiss alpine destination that offers all this and more. In this article, we'll take you on a journey through an unforgettable weekend of intensive trekking, culminating in an unforgettable night's stay at Lodge Chamanna Georgy in Pontresina.
The Long and Scenic Trek Begins
Our adventure began with a brisk four-hour trek to reach the first chalet, where we could catch our breath, enjoy a well-deserved meal, and take in the stunning views. Located at an elevation of 2000 meters, this chalet served as the perfect starting point for our journey.
The trail itself was challenging, with steep ascents and descents that tested our stamina. But with every step, the extraordinary landscape of Sankt Moritz unfolded before us. The azure lakes, the lush valleys, and the majestic mountains towering overhead painted a picture of unrivaled natural splendor.
Pushing Onward to Chamanna Georgy
After recharging at the first chalet, we set our sights on the ultimate prize: Lodge Chamanna Georgy. Perched at a lofty altitude of 3,110 meters, it was no easy feat to reach our destination. The path grew steeper and more rugged, but the promise of the incredible views from the top kept us motivated.
The closer we came to Lodge Chamanna Georgy, the more our anticipation grew. And then, finally, we reached our goal.
Sunset Splendor and Unforgettable Companionship
The moment we arrived at Lodge Chamanna Georgy, we knew the effort was more than worthwhile. The view from this high vantage point was nothing short of extraordinary. Sankt Moritz Lake glistened below us, reflecting the soft, rosy hues of the setting sun. The feeling of being on top of the world was simply surreal.
As night fell and the temperatures dropped, we found warmth and camaraderie inside the lodge. Our group of five friends had a room to ourselves, making for an intimate and cozy stay. We also had the chance to meet fellow travelers from different corners of the world, including Germany and Switzerland. Conversations flowed, stories were shared, and lasting connections were forged under the starlit sky.
An Experience to Remember
Our weekend getaway to Sankt Moritz, intensive trekking, and night at Lodge Chamanna Georgy was an adventure of a lifetime. The physical exertion was rewarded with spectacular natural beauty, an incredible sunset, and the warmth of newfound friendships. We left with our hearts and spirits rejuvenated, grateful for the opportunity to explore such a breathtaking part of the world.
Teddy Shoes
The idea for the new faux teddy shoes was born during my visit to Sankt Moritz last winter my friend Lulu threw a weekend party after us girls went through many breakups.
While there, I was wearing velvet slippers, but I yearned for footwear that truly captured the cozy vibes of the region and kept my feet warm, especially after a day on the slopes.
Over hot chocolate, I said 'I'm going to create teddy shoes next seaon.' And now, here they are!

Day One: A Milanese Welcome
Upon her arrival at the airport, we wasted no time. I whisked her away on my trusty Vespa, and our first stop was a late lunch at Il Salumaio di Montenapoleone. There's no better way to savor the warm weather and indulge in an Italian meal than amidst the high-end fashion boutiques of Milan's famous Montenapoleone street. We leisurely strolled through boutiques, soaking in the city's fashion-forward atmosphere, and ended the day at Chiosco Mentana—a popular spot for Milanese in their twenties and thirties to see and be seen on a Friday night.
Day Two: A Day of Luxury and Adventure
On our second day, I wanted my friend to experience something truly unforgettable. We embarked on a scenic drive to Moltrasio, where we savored a luxurious lunch at Passalaqua, a boutique hotel nestled on the shores of Lake Como. Later, we met up with a group of friends, enjoyed cocktails by the pool, and headed to Villa Erba for the TeenageDream festival. The DJ spun hits from the early 2000s, and it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Surprisingly, September and early October turned out to be a magical time to explore the Italian lakes.
Lake Como Highlights:
Day Three: Embracing Milanese Fashion
For her third day in Italy, I arranged a brunch party at a friend's house in Milan.
My friend was taken aback by the number of girls donning friulane shoes! It seemed like every girl had a pair, each matched to unique style—skirts, black jeans, boho dresses—you name it. It was a testament to how Italians love friulane and can effortlessly style them in various ways.
Day Four: A Milanese Blend of Culture and Culinary Delights
Our fourth day began with a delightful cappuccino at St. Ambroeus, followed by another one at Marchesi. My friend was unable to determine which was the superior cappuccino between the two iconic spots. We then balanced our morning with a visit to Barry's Bootcamp and a leisurely stroll through Brera. A quick snack at Jamaica fueled us for an exploration of Fondazione Prada. After a brief nap at home, we capped off the day with a charming dinner at Casafiorichiari.

Forte dei Marmi is lined with beach clubs also known as "Bagni", each with perfectly cured sand, typical cabinas and colorful umbrellas. For a see-and-be-seen experience, head to Bagno Santa Maria, otherwise, if you want to taste the tradition of Forte check out any Bagno around the center.
My Favorites: Bagno America, Bagno Piemonte or Bagno Giovanni.
Join the locals and ride a bike around town. It's the easiest and fastest way to move around. You can also get lost between the shining windows of the local boutiques. The pedestrian area offers high-end brands and more affordable shops such as artisans and beachwear stores.
On Wednesday and Sunday, you must browse cashmere sweatshirts and goods at the local market located in Piazza Marconi.
If you are looking for a chill Apertivo, go straight from the beach to Alle Boe located right next to Bagno Piero. Instead, if you are already dressed up, choose any cafe/bar around the pedestrian center such as Il Giardino, Bar Principe ( just renovated by Miuccia Prada ) or Caffe Soldi.
For a sunset-view kind of experience head to the rooftop of Principe Hotel ( it's priceyyy and filled with international people ).
Restaurants are always crowded and very busy. Make sure to reserve a table few days in advance. For a "feet on the sand" kind of experience, check out Bagno Ristorante Gilda or enjoy a spaghetti with clams at Bagno Bruno.
If you are feeling to stay home and just want to order pizza or have an healthy salad, check out Pizzeria Alfiero - located just few miles away from Forte, but the drivers deliver in just a few.
If you are a “Forte Habitué” or just a tourist in Versilia, you should put your bike on the side and drive to the hill to experience unforgettable dinners. Situated in the hills of Massa, ristorante il Trillo occupies an old house that is home to the estate’s wine cellars. A charming atmosphere dominated by lemon trees and a cuisine full of flavors from the traditional Massese specialties.
My Favorites for dinner: Trattoria Tre Stelle, Lorenzo Ristorante, Ristorante Maitò,
My Favorites for lunch: Pizzeria Fuorirotta, Da Valè, Sanamente
Nightlife? Forte is not famous for "crazy nightclubs". Occasionally, it happens to see international celebrities such as Leonardo Di Caprio at Twiga ( popping out bottles ) or Italian tv personalities at La Capannina di Franceschi singing 80's songs.
My Favorite late night bar: Freak Cafe - Marguttiana
The moment you step in, you feel the Vintage Cali vibes: unique pieces of art inside, live jazz music on the outdoor and a large manu from fresh juices for breakfast to outstanding cocktails available until 3 am.
If you are a sport addict, this town is the best place to run around and feel safe. You can also reach the mountains by bike or play a tennis/padel match - make sure to book a court on time! They are always packed.
My Favorite sportclub: Tennis Club Italia
]]>Greece, with its timeless charm and captivating beauty, never ceases to amaze. My recent trip to this Mediterranean paradise left me with a suitcase full of Friulane shoes and a treasure trove of unforgettable memories. While we explored various destinations, Paros and Antiparos emerged as the undisputed highlights of our journey.
The Mykonos Layover
Our adventure began with a clever stopover in Mykonos. Since there were no direct flights from Milan to Paros, my friends and I decided to make the most of our 24-hour layover. We kicked off our vacation with an awe-inspiring sunset at the renowned Zuma. A night of revelry on the island followed before we boarded a 30-minute ferry to our ultimate destination: Naoussa in Paros.
Naoussa: A Perfect Base
Upon arriving in Naoussa, we found ourselves a charming Airbnb just a short 5-minute stroll from the vibrant nightlife hub. It turned out to be a game-changer, offering easy access to both the bustling streets and tranquil beaches. Our days were filled with beachside tanning sessions and island exploration (don't miss the charming Parikia). Evenings were reserved for dining out with friends at the trendy bars of Naoussa, where seaside cocktails flowed freely.
Affordable Paros
What sets Paros apart from other popular Greek islands, like Mykonos, is its affordability. Restaurants offer reasonably priced delicacies, and luxury hotel suites come at a fraction of the cost you'd find on more exclusive islands. If you're in the mood for something fancy, the Cosme Hotel is a must-visit. We spent a day indulging in beachside relaxation, spa treatments, and a sumptuous lunch. The service and value for money were exceptional – highly recommended!
Paros beach bliss:
- Punda Coast Beach
- Cosme Beach from Cosme Hotel
- Monastiri Beach
- Marcello Beach
- Faragas Beach
Paros food delights:
- Luaz Restaurant
- Siparos seaside Restaurant
- Thalami Restaurant
- Blue Oyster Restaurant
- Stilvi Restaurant
- Kapari Restaurant
Paros sunset magic:
- Zazala beach bar & restaurant
Antiparos: Where Magic Unfolds
While Paros is undeniably enchanting, Antiparos is where the real magic happens. It reminded me of Formentera during the off-season – an island steeped in tranquil beauty. We hopped on a ferry from Parikia to Antiparos, a mere 10-minute journey, and discovered the stunning Soros Beach. Here, we enjoyed lunch and partied with chic ladies from Manhattan and a lively group of Italians (it turns out the island is a favorite among Italians and French). The DJ's 80's tunes took me on a nostalgia trip, evoking memories of my high school days and watching "Mamma Mia!" It was cool, fun, and made me feel like Sophie in the movie!
Our day ended with an aperitivo at the Sunset Bar, a hidden Greek gem that I wholeheartedly recommend.
In conclusion, Paros and Antiparos offer an irresistible blend of sun, sea, and style. From vibrant nights in Naoussa to tranquil moments on the beaches, and the enchantment of Antiparos, these Greek islands are a must-visit for those seeking an unforgettable Mediterranean adventure. Pack your bags and get ready to create your own Greek memories – I promise, you won't be disappointed!

The summer season is around the corner and my brain is on a trip looking for the perfect outfit to pair with Le Orsine shoes during our weekend getaways in the Mediterranean.
I usually start from one accessory ( shoes ... obviously ) and then add the rest.
My outfits on vacation need to be comfy and practical. Maxi dresses, most of the times they are white or with flower print, a straw bag and sunglasses for the day, a cute clutch for the night and my look is ready to go!
See below our selection that add a delicate touch to a summer wardrobe for a weekend away.

We strongly believe pop-up shops are a great way to engage in face-to-face marketing with our consumers and potential business partners. In addition, they can be beneficial for our clients that can actually feel and try on our shoes.
